on the gluten free baking, suggest you look around. there is a lot of very interesting stuff out there.

found an article in a trade magazine the other day, took a foto and sent it to the dau.

pro baker, gluten free, really nice product.

and very do-able.

i'll try to find a way to get it from my phone to you.

Trying to survive at work mostly.
My office manager is in the process of retiring and only in one day a week… I’m not busy enough to hire anyone so I’m learning a new job. 😥

I’m not a huge fan of the “Gluten Free “ band wagon… a lot of the stuff out there is just as bad if not worse than traditional products.

I’m more trying to just watch my carbs, more veggies & protein… good fats. Was doing pretty good but the last month or so has been tough getting back on track…. I’ll get there though!

I am interested to know what new skills you are acquiring.

when i went to solo, i had touch typing and speed writing.

and fundamental computer skills.

first IBM computer had dos 1 with 64k.

i had to learn elementary programming

Then Word Perfect for word processing and a time and expense billing program.

everything went along great for about 10 years.

went from dos to windows, etc.

then microsoft changed their os and my programs would not run as programed.

data files, macros, merges, would not convert tp the new os or software programs.

i retired.

i hope, dear Smoke, we will be messaging next Feb 29 th.

in the meantime,

on the gluten free front, i am bewildered by this relatively sudden epidemic of gluten sensitivity.

and all the allergies to whatever and just about everything.

i don't remember any of this back when i was a kid.

peanut butter and jelly on wonder bread will sicken or kill now-a-days.

It’s all a marketing ploy!

As for learning, I learn things out of necessity…I found where customer statements are!

Same with graphics programs. I started with Corel Draw then had to learn Illustrator…I still can’t figure out Photoshop.
