Fish whats SR? Curious how long that took you to complete. I assumed MP was military...always impressed when people can do that one with any amount of weight. I think the most I've done is 50 lbs.
I always thought you were taller...dont ask me why but for some reason I thought you were more like 6" something. I'd give anything to add a few inches to my height.
Nice workout.

Pam,
SR is meant to mean seated row. Curious, I can do 90 lbs on a one armed dumbbell row, but not 180 on the SR.
MP is meant to mean military press. Again it seems that I can do more with dumbbells (60s) than with the bar, and as you know that is not supposed to be the case because of the involvement of the stabilizers, etc.
I actually used to be almost two inches taller. I think I lost due to one compression fracture playing football (stupid sport), and two compression fractures in a skiing accident.
Every little boy wants to be 6 feet tall. I got over it when I saw the actuarial tables related to height. Tall ones die early.
On the workouts, I’m trying something new for me, maintaining the same routine for a while. We’ll see if it helps me make the targets. Jack’s got me making resolutions, something I resolved never to do.
Keep the faith.

Fish with the seated row and one arm row I imagine the reason you can lift more with the one is because you are lifting in a completly different plane...would that be the right terminology? With your new routine what is your main goal? As for being able to do more with db's on your military than the bar...is your form just as strick with the db's as it is with the bar? I can do more with db's too on my mp...which isnt even close to what you can do...but I think its because there is a certain about of "play" that I have with the db's that I dont have with the bar. Just another one of my theories.

Pam,
The routine took just over an hour, warm up to cool down.
I am aiming at the 300 lb HDL, the 200 BP, and the 15 pull ups (I'll settle for chins if I have to) at 168 body weight.
I am using "hard gainer" principles of multi-joint lifts, no more than two workouts per week, small increments, very strict technique, and cycle when I plateau.
I am a little high on the cardio and this fact may slow things down. This will not change.
Also, I am not now willing to increase my weight. This may change.
All this is a new experience for me, as I have read a lot and lifted a little, never looking to increase strength, but rather to maintain utility. So I intend to be very cautious indeed.
Peace,
fish
