NC tells me i'm too far out over my skis.
"if Smoke is at all concerned about the ingredients, she will either be uncomfortable using the cream or not use it at all. Leave her alone ! "
Of course, she's right, but guys just don't get it. My hands feel soft and moist after I change the engine oil.

Out again today an hour walk.
If I just come home and change my clothes I do it easier than if I get sidetracked.
Need to keep it up now!

Great day! Slept in and snuggled with my kids.
Went to Agway to get stuff for garden, worked all afternoon outside. Put together last raised bed, hauled some stone, mixed some top dressing for garlic & asparagus. Redid parsley bed, planted kale. Got a lot done.

Well I tried to go for a walk outside yesterday but it was windy & chilly and I was tired… had been up since 2am! Got out the driveway and said screw it!!! Went home and took a nap before going out to play train.
Had a good night sleep, got up this morning and worked in the house, got cabbage shredded for sauerkraut, made lasagna and got my walk in! Got home and worked out in the yard for awhile.
Good day!

if you make your own sauerkraut, i suggest you check out the seasonings for kimchi. we found a ball jar tool that helps keep the cabbage submerged. they call it a fermentation kit.
as for pizza, i make different kinds with different doughs and different sauces.
i worked in a pizzeria, once upon a time.
do try a margherita pizza if you have not done so. very easy, and very very good. have to have a few things to do it right. a stick blender to blend the sweet basil leaves into the peeled tomatoes helps a lot. fresh Mozzarella a moist dough. if by volume, if 3 cups flour, 1.5 cups water.
we use quarry ceramic tiles to line the bottom of the oven. They're clean, so you don't have to worry about additives leeching out into your food.
the cold tiles are on the lowest rack.
preheat the oven at whatever its max temp is. ours is 550, which is not hot enough, but as hot as we can get it.
we cook the pizza first in the pan on the high rack, because heat rises, until the surface is where you want it to be.
then using the peel to remove the pizza from the pan, we finish the bottom of the crust on the tiles.
very easy with new york pizza, which has a less moist dough.
a light dusting of corn meal on the pan makes it easier to get the pie from the pan onto the peel and from the peel onto the stones.
lots of you tube videos on this.
wonder what kimchi pizza tastes like.

I tried making kimchi…. I ruined it with the hot pepper I’ll have to take another crack at it.
I just use mason jars with plastic lids… have had good luck with those so didn’t bother with the kit.
