why is canola oil bad ?

It’s usually gmo, trans fat, not good to consume…. Not sure it would be any better topically….still would go through skin.

didabuncha reading on canola oil both for diet and for skin.

finding some who don't like it for eating, but many who do.

not finding any who don't like it for skin.

can you point me to some add-info ?

don't want NC making stuff that's not good for her or the folks she may give the creams to.

what's your favorite essential oil flavor for such creams ?

The fact that is gmo is enough for me to turn to something else.
O ordered organic shea butter from amazon.

NC says just about any odorless vegetable oil.

her canola is NGMO

there are a lot of diy face/hand cream recipes out there.

NC avoids using any water in her creams.

Says they go bad sooner if she does.

6 oz canola oil

3 oz coconut oil

1 oz beeswax

X drops essential oil like vanilla or orange, etc to taste.

NC uses the microwave, but a dbl boiler works to melt the ingredients together.

forgot to mention she get local beeswax, if she  can.

she reckons if the local pollen makes a difference in local honey re: allergies, then local beeswax ...
