that is certainly a complete workout
i know what it means to fill a raised bed and plant potatoes.
Bronx boy never even heard of garlic scapes, but having looked them up, can't wait to get some.

by the way, do you still have that really good bicycle you got a few years ago ?
something in one of our recent exchanges got me reading past posts and i came across that thread.
that was and is a great bike.
done any riding ?

Scapes are good, oddly enough they don’t taste like garlic. When you sauté them they are more like green beans.
Yes I still have the bike.. old mt bike and new fancy one. Haven’t ridden either one in awhile.😥

Late day at work In early tomorrow, got to come home by 10am getting 2 year old fridge “ hopefully “ fixed. Work Saturday.

two years ?
i thought planned obsolescence was a thing of the past.
new appliances are not very good across the board. and it's more and more difficult to get the old ones serviced.
we have to buy a new heater because they no longer make parts for our Monitor.
anytime i have to write a formal (which is rarely these days), i now add OBS with the other academic initials.
AB, JD, OBS.
for obsolete.
