Y'all,
Well, I got 'em, the lat attachment and the foot brace.
Can I stop now ?
Actually, since he has had the rig for some time, I want to ask Jack about what he considers to be essential accessories.
Do I need/can I fabricate the tri-rope ? I want to do pull throughs.
Do I need/can I fabricate a single and/or double handle ? I want to do the chopping exercises.
You know, it would be interesting to see a list of the stuff y'all have in your gyms in order of importance to each of you.
Peace,
fish

If Pam keeps going she's going to be the toy leader . Fish, you need a tri rope or the leather tri strap. I'd like to have the leather strap as it is more comfortable to use. I'm sure you could make one but if it were me I'd just go ahead and order it. I've got the double D handle but not the single. I use the doulbe D for seated rows and that's about it. The single D would be useful for a lot of cable stuff. I believe I'd just go ahead and purchase this one. The most important and useful accessories I have are my bands and chains. I use all the other stuff but I could get by without them. Happy New Year.

Jack,
Your suggestion about the tri-straps has led me to try my rock climbing slings. They seem to work very well. Of course, they are designed to bear heavy weight securely.
If you're not familiar with climbing slings, next time you're in EMS, take a look. They come in various lengths and widths.
On Wednesday after a month's layoff I did a simple 10 x 95 115 135 workout on basic lifts - full squat, RDL, HDL, bench press, seated rows & pull downs. Today I feel like sombody beat me with a board. Lord, but don't I loose it fast.
Happy New Year, and to you too, Pam,

Fish, don't feel like the Lone Ranger. I felt weak as a kitten today and was down at least 20#'s on my bench work. It's discouraging but we'll catch up.
135 on lat pulldowns is pretty good in my book. I'll take that any day.

Jack,
Well, a cockadoodledo (bantam size) for me. And it is actually 5 lbs more on the cable stuff since I started with 2 25s to simulate the bar.
I think that all my years of rowing have resulted in relatively good general back strength.
Thanks for the support.
