I can squat 250 lbs, I can max out at 285 on GM's, I can even deadllift a fair amount...and never once have I hurt myself doing any of those lifts. Today, I get into the van when we were done at the hospital, pushed myself up in the seat and bam...my lower back hurt so bad it took my breath away. Now it feels like someone hit me with a baseball bat. Hurts even to do the treadmill. Just once I'd like to get hurt doing something cool.

I should be good to go by tomorrow. I didnt get much sleep last night and was up at the crack of dawn so I'm beat. I'm going to get dinner for the kids, bring Tanner downstairs with me to do his homework and hopefully be asleep by 9. I give myself 2 days a week off if I need them...looks like I'm taking one today.

It's good to take a day off here & there, your body will tell ya when. We just need to learn to listen to it.

Maybe you should try snowboarding . I'm guessing you probably tried to make an exercise out of getting the van......that's the reason you hurt your back . Get well soon.
