Need to vent...my computer is getting so bad at home, can only do one thing at a time or it gets confused. Can't seem to walk and chew gum. I ordered a new one the other night...can't wait till it gets here. I won't know how to act with one that I can do more tha one thing.

Prophylaxis
Get norton and every norton clone available and use them every week.
don't take data from one computer to the other unless you have made sure the data is squeaky clean.
be sure to get all the patches offered by windows or apple or whomever.
and take the old computer to a local shop and get it scrubbed. probably can be good as new on the cheap.
i have computer for business that never connects to a telephone and therefore never goes on the net. repeat, never goes on the net. abstinence works. no transmitted diseases for that iteration.
nothing i can not afford to loose or that i don't want anyone else to know is on my net computers.
and computers are cheap and priceless at the same time.
