Ok the last few days, shorts and tshirt weather. Yesterday maybe a sweatshirt, snow almost all melted. The birds were singing, and spring was in the air. Today, I'm guessing a foot of snow so far. Shoveled my driveway 3 times since 6 am, the neighbors once. Attempted to go to my parents. Roads grid locked, 8 busses jackknifed on the side of the road, people actually walking on the highway to get back to their park and ride. Good news, SNOW DAY!!!! First one this year for the kids. I think I'm more excited than they are Going to run my hands under warm water and try to get the feeling back in them and curl up on the couch with Tanner and Harry Potter and the something or another. Have a good one everyone.

1. Spring is here in Maine. Must be 50 with no snow at all.
2. Get the Harry Potter recorded books. The actor who reads them is remarkable. Carries the same voices and character characteristics through every book.
3. Get the Harry Potter books in a different language. I got them in Spanish. I run my eyes over the text while I listen to the recorded books. Great for vocabulary and oral comprehension. I can watch TV in Spanish and pretty much get it.

You know what made me feel good...well bad for Ryan good for me. Ryan had to sit and rest a few times at my parents. Now he may have been taking a little bigger shovel fulls but when the kids were in all pooped out I was still going. Gotta get those "atta boys" where you can when youre over 40.
