My surgery is scheduled for September 10. I also got the test result back that they did to see if I have the more aggressive form of cancer. They ran my Calcitonin level. Mine was <2 and they want it under 5. So thats a good thing. It unfortunately does not mean its not cancer but it does indicate it have a better chance at it being the lesser form.
So what does that all mean....I have no idea.
I'm just trying to take it all in and pull out all the good I can. I truly believe god has a plan and I believe in that plan. So knowing that, believing that, means worrying would just be futile correct? I continue everyday to thank god for all he has blessed me with.
Last night I was sitting on the couch with Tanner. Mind you we just found all this out Tuesday. We were talking about the fort we are going to build tonight in the basement and how excited it is to sleep in it. Then he said, "Mom, this has been the best week ever" It took me by surprise at first wondering how he could say that with everythign we found out but you know, he taught me so much with those few words. It has been the best week ever. My mother is talking to me again, my kids are healthy, I have wonderful friends, we are making plans to move and build a log home...life is good.
Thanks for being there for me guys.

as always out of the mouths of babes...It's a shame grown ups aren't like that. Soewhere along the line we tend to lose the ability to be happy with the little things in life.
I know that God has a wondeful plan for you and he certainly isn't going to take you out of the game in the first quarter...Colts played last night btw. I hope your mom's eyes have been opened for good this time...life is just to short to be dealing with petty issues.
Hope you enjoy your "camp in" tonight...that inside potty I know is a huge plus for you.
although it's just Fish and I here always remember that we are still here for you.
