Too tired to type the “e”
There are just waaayyyy too many things wrong with taking a bath! Hip is killing me so I thought a soak with some Epsom salts would be a good idea!
Wrong! - Tub is way too small! - why isn’t the overflow higher up... how can one soak in 5 inches of water? - water gets cold too fast! - really can’t lay back. - won’t even go into getting out! I’m not happy.

too right ! showers are for bathing, tubs are for soaking.
when next we get the bathroom overhauled we are getting a deeeep soak tub. and a pretty big but manageable pot to boil water on the stove and carry safely to the soak tub so we can get the water temp where it is supposed to be. hmmm, maybe a hot plate in the bathroom ...
and the soak tub will be insulated so it will hold the heat.
at this point, i don't care what it costs.
a proper hot bath. one of God's great, but simple gifts

As a printer my press is run with a foot pedal, so I am standing on my right foot and hitting the pedal with my left. We are unbelievably busy and I had a 9 colour job 160 sheets. Ran 8 colours in about 10 hours. Between that and all the other jobs I was probably standing on that one foot at least 8-9 hours. Thus the problem. Never had it this bad before, leg feels like a shin splint but on the side. Peppermint oil has seemed to help some.

feel like nerve or muscle pain ?
is it possible that as you raise and lower the foot on the pedal, you stabilize your hips with smaller muscles on your supporting leg and hip and overwork them ?
glute medius, glute minimus, and tensor facia latie issues ?

Oh they are overworked no doubt. It was just an incredible amount of work in a short period of time. Found one brace but ordered another one. Hip I may take a trip to chiro before it turns into something worse.

I luv my chiro! Dread the day he retires. Feeling a little better today. Had meetings all afternoon so I did get a bit of a break.

Sorry, yes both...ankle feels like a shin splint but up the side, swollen about the size of a ping pong ball just in front of ankle bone. Hip I think is just out. Ice, brace, work
