stretch while coffee is brewing.
i'm no fanatic, but we do think that it is almost worth it to burr grind the coffee beans immediately before brewing. we drink coffee every morning, so we have spent some time reading on the subject.
easy to get crazy, some folks go so far as to want the beans to be "fresh", as in less than days from roasting.
so i grind the beans, then degass them, then put them in a pot, then pour in the 200 degree water, then pour out over the filter into a thermal pot.
works pretty ok. NC says best coffee ever. Of course, she gets it served while still under the covers. Anyway,
Stretch in between coffee procedure steps. Later AD or some other sort of aerobic. I hope to get back on the water this summer.
then dmbbls,
only 10 pounders each hand, more of a calisthenic / aerobic mix
then mat work - classic yoga stuff
then ball work - hypers, reverse hypers, crunches then clubs not a lot of strength work, but
now doing pushups
then cane work during the day.
try to mix it up for interest and not to get the muscles in a groove, which reduces the effectiveness of exercise,
it's the coffee that really counts.

still doing.
I have new applicable vocabulary words and phrases !
Central serous chorioretinopathy. Central serous chorioretinopathy is when fluid builds up under the retina.
Sub retinal edema. Unwanted buildup of liquid at the back of the eye known as macular edema. If left untreated, the condition can blur vision and eventually lead to blindness.
Not to worry ! Well, maybe a little.
symptom is visual distortion, in my case just below and to the left of the center of the bullseye.
serous does not necessarily mean serious.
can still do my exercise, and am still doing it.
and, of course,
wood.

the usual.
beach walks the last few days.
lots of storm damage.
any idea what we should do about these strange posts ?
I seem to recall a gym rat member from long ago.
Maybe we should write a story about the bad guys using blogs like this to communicate undetected. Then the feds come and take us away ... Paranoid ? who ? me ?

Thanks.
I did run pieces of some of the posts through a translator, and it's nothing to do with Powerlifting, unless they use that term to talk about business practices.

dropping and cutting.
10.5K for 9 trees.
I'm in shock. but we did get about 4 cord firewood cut.
Cut and split firewood Maine is almost 400 a cord.
thank you Joe B !
so that takes the cost down a bit, but we still have to pay for the gas splitter, unless I use a maul.
you may be reading here as daily exercise for the next few years:
maul splitting fire wood.
great exercise, but i'm not still so young.
years ago we had 14 huge trees taken down.
I cut them and I split them.
I enjoyed the work.
I weep to say that I don't know if I could do it again.

Those trees were old. There is a deep nostalgic sadness that our close "friends" of so many years are gone. the trees evoke many memories.
For example, one of the trees anchored our dog run for Lily. Gone.
I think every season for the first year there will be that recall.
