got some weed whacking in today too.
do you use a belt tension gauge ? i've got one somewhere. used it more when i was working on car engines.
not essential, but i've seen a lot of burnt bearings from too tight belts.
i mentioned that last season the push mower needed a new air filter and gas line and spark plug and some other tweaking.
this year had to clean out mouse rubbish that kept the engine from firing.
got a new for me primer technique. one push pull if no start,
second push pull
etc. small engines are easy to flood.
our mower is old. we've had it many years.
the company doesn't make push mowers any more. John Deere

had to do a little work on my sister's old JD rider.
we have a portable battery booster that came in pretty handy.
my brother was living there at the time, but he couldn't fix it.
he thinks a screwdriver is a drink with orange juice. hammered is what happens if you have too many screwdrivers.

by the way, saw a great trick that everyone should know. keep a couple of vice grips available for jumping dead battery. clip the vice grips to the battery poles, and the cable to the grips. easy to get really good contact.

good for you.
let's see if the 21 day rule still works.
i can't go without some sort of workout, but it takes time to regain the habit.
i am very glad to hear this.
